Actually it's 5 in the morning according to my laptop clock. I'm pretty sure the clock is set to central time and we are in the eastern time zone. Brandon and I have taken the brunt of the late night driving shift as we make our way from New York to Nashville. Needless to say it's a very long drive. If I can sleep I'll wake up about the time we need to load in for the show tomorrow. This is our life, and it's a love/hate relationship.

When I think about death I often wonder if we humans have a curse of thinking only about the finite. The things we strive for and love in life are the infinite. We can easily talk about how to concoct an equation as a way of measuring speed, distance, and finite mass. But the interesting part about the infinite is that we can't yet find a way of explaining it. The explanation of it is impossible. Music is one of these things that I speak so romantically about. The feeling that you get from a perfect piece of music is infinite emotion.

St. Louis is in our rear view mirror. We played there last night to a very energetic crowd! Truly a memorable night. Now we are back in the van with Brandon at the wheel on our way to Lexington, Kentucky for a show tonight. Onward and upward. Can't wait for Japan and the UK...

there is a very specific theme or concept that I used for the record. It was about a story I was thinking about before the record was done.

Pre-Concert QD Fans Party!!!

Who: Everyone who is going to the QD CD release show October 9th at 1st Ave

What: A get together/pre-party for all QD fans to hang out, get to know each other, play some games, eat some food and head over to the show together

Where: Meet up at the Crown Plaza, and possibly dinner at restaurant downtown, or we'll order pizza. Everything will be within walking distance of 1st Ave.

When: Time is to be determined, but we will most likely meet up a couple hours before the show. Hang out for a while and then head over to the meet and greet together.

Congratulations to Matt from Saddle Brook, New Jersey! His Sun Country flight has been booked and he is very excited for the trip!

I will make sure Matt takes pictures and posts a "Trip Winner's Photo Blog/Journal" on the myspace.

It has been brought to my attention that some of you out there are quite the gamers. Well, if anyone wants to challenge me to a game on Xbox Live, bring it on! NHL 09 and Call Of Duty 4 are my games of choice, so let the games begin!

If you guys have any suggestions on what we should play in your city, go to the shows page and click on the show and leave a comment with what songs you want to hear.

Then before we play that night we'll have Brandon check out and make a set list based upon it.
