Charcoal Drawing

At first I wanted to draw an angel for my bedroom, but instead the paper had a mind of its own and yelled out "I'm Kevin!". Five days later, I'm still drawing and this portrait came up out of no where. I had no intention of sketching the guys whatsoever, or even spending such a long time on one piece. I was planning to give this to the guys for their Christmas present because this drawing is the first charcoal drawing I've done since 2006. I cried when I finished it; I admit because it feels so good to create again. Anyways, I've decided to keep this picture for myself and submit it for an art scholarship in 2009.

There's just this sentimental feeling toward this drawing and I couldn't give it up, however I wanted to share my gift with everyone. :) The medium for the portrait is ebony pencil and soft/hard charcoal pencil, the background is soft charcoal, the writing is in white charcoal pencil, and cold press watercolor 12 x 18 paper.
