i love this picture. and now i will go into photography garble and explain why i love it:
i was shooting at 400 ISO, with a canon powershot sd1000, no flash. the problem with shooting rock shows is if you shoot with a higher ISO with no flash, the picture looks horrible (quality wise), and if you shoot with a low ISO and no flash, it's always blurry, because chances are your subject is moving, and not nearly as illuminated as they need to be. (PS - the reason i just don't use flash is because 1) flash at a show is SIN. 2) the cameras i shoot shows with don't have an external flash w/ a flash card, which just makes it really bad. 3) because you don't get the colors of the filtered lights when you use flash [on these particular or most small digital cameras].)i always stick with the lower ISO and hope for a good light show. i was lucky here, because the two white floods came on at the SAME exact time, making the lighting on POINT, and my camera was (for once) cooperated with me and captured THIS.

and that is me being a photography dork.
