something i need to say about the record
there is a very specific theme or concept that I used for the record. It was about a story I was thinking about before the record was done.
This record is an expression of a concept that I had before making the record, and also a reflection of the multitude of lives that we came across while we were on tour for the last 3 years. The concept I had was that an good angel would come to possess the body of a human, much like some believe that demons can possess humans. This good angel would reside in the body of a human, and go through sinful human experiences. However, when the angel decides to leave the body, he or she is denied entrance based upon the sins that were committed while on earth. After this point, the listener can take deliverance to mean what it should to them. Some days it means that the angel won't be saved, and that the angel needs divine intervention to realize perfection again. Other days the story would make me believe that deliverance was at hand.
All the songs don't have a strict adherence to that concept (because other songs had also overshadowed them), but it is loosely applied to where it was inspiring to both the concept and the album artwork.

I just got the album today and I must say I LOVE IT! Also, I believe that the angel is better now after experiencing the sins that humans go through each day but choses not to go back to the higher power because as it says "I've had it once but now I want it again". The angel wants to continue the life as the human to experience what we experience. Does that make sense?

I love how this album has so much being to it, it really makes me giddy
and i've been reading the lyrics to the songs like they are the bible, and just from reading them they brought me to tears, they were so incredibly deep, and I seriously can't wait to hear the songs :D

isnt it a great experience to have a dream or thought sing it in your mind
write it down and then sing out loud for others to hear . Your at a point where
you can do this and not be bullied into singing other peoples dreams and thoughts but your own . and when people respond by coming to your shows
and buying your cds and singing them back to you , gotta be a great experience.
