Hello from Amman, Jordan. This is actually day two, or maybe three. I'm not sure because of the time difference. What I can tell you is that I woke up at 6:47 this morning and felt like I had slept until 1 in the afternoon.

Actually it's 5 in the morning according to my laptop clock. I'm pretty sure the clock is set to central time and we are in the eastern time zone. Brandon and I have taken the brunt of the late night driving shift as we make our way from New York to Nashville. Needless to say it's a very long drive. If I can sleep I'll wake up about the time we need to load in for the show tomorrow. This is our life, and it's a love/hate relationship.

What a crazy last week it's been. As you may know, Quietdrive is headquartered in Minneapolis and for the last week we've had ever Republican in America here for the Republican National Convention. There were over 40,000 extra people in the city just attending, not to mention the thousands of protesters from all over. Watching the news was like watching the US circa 1960s during the civil rights movement and Vietnam. People wearing vinegar saoked bandanas, political t-shirts and carrying protest signs mixed with polo-shirted or suit wearing delegates. It was bound to get interesting.

I'm looking for 7 people who think they can beat me in fantasy football. This will be a for fun league, but if you can beat me, you might just get a special prize. Frankly, I'm really not too worried about losing.

Kevin and Kirby will also be playing in the league, and I'll warn you, despite their lack of experience in fantasy football, they're pretty good!

You don't have to be experienced in fantasy football to join the league, although it will help avoid getting royally spanked. Either way I will win because football is my soulfood.

It's funny that although people come and go in my life, your friends change, the people you spend the most time with change, girlfriends come and go, there always certain constants that I can depend on. The biggest one of those, and the thing that has always allowed me to accept the tides of life, is music. If my life is a centrifuge, music is the center. By launching this website we've become one step closer to everyone hearing our new album. I'm so proud of what we've accomplished, and so excited that we have so many avenues to share it with all of you.
