The time when you catch up on all the things you were going to read but didn't have to time to. And spend hours looking for study abroad options. Then you realize that you just wasted all those hours because you don't really care about what you were reading. And then you're even crabbier because you still haven't slept. You listen to the same CD 8 times in a row. It used to be your favorite CD but now all noise irritates you because you could be freaking sleeping and instead your mind keeps running over and over the words again and again until you want to scream.
Sometimes I wonder how many people exist in one's mind. Likely more than one. When you dream it seems as if for most of the time you are an observer, and you watch the dream and reality that takes place. Someone else is controlling the being that exists in the dream, and the plane in which this dream exists on doesn't match up with our reality. But likewise, in our reality I wonder if that person controlling actions in the dream is watching our lives unfold.

I love seeing Californians in rain wear. It's like seeing an elephant in a tutu -awkward and uncomfortable.
Lately we've had the coldest weather in fifty years. There's snow in Lancaster. I can't remember the last time it's rained this hard in Orange County. I love it.
I was walking home in the downpour with Darion, and she said it'd be like this all the time when we move to London for college. I can't wait. As long as I'm appropriately dressed -and equipped with a powerful heater...

2008 was a long year.
a very long, very hard year, and at the same time, i am and will be eternally grateful for it.
i was blessed to have met some of the most wonderful people who have helped me get through some of the toughest times i've faced so far in my life. despite the circumstance under which i met some or all of these individuals, it was worth going through to end up where i am now.
you know, i was sad for a week, but now i'm just pissed off.
Harold Pinter, you died on freaking christmas eve. you: the most brilliant politically inspired playwright ever - couldn't you have croaked the day after Obama's inauguration?
jeez.
